2. Data controller

AKIOUD AI, as a data controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) of the GDPR, determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data. The legal representative of AKIOUD AI acts as data protection officer and can be reached at privacy@akioud.ai.

3. What data we collect and why

We do not use analytics, telemetry, or tracking on this website. We do not collect usage statistics, browsing behavior, or device data.

4. Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Contact inquiries: 3 years after the last interaction.
  • Trial accounts: Deleted 6 months after trial expiry unless converted to paid.
  • Paid Accounts and Transaction Invoices: Personal data tied to active paid subscriptions, commercial contracts, and Stripe billing invoices are securely retained for a period of 10 years following the end of the fiscal year of purchase, in accordance with the strict record-keeping requirements of the French Commercial Code (Article L123-22).

5. Your rights under GDPR

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights:

6. Cookies and tracking

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies for its operation. We do not use any tracking cookies, analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies. We do not track you across sites, collect behavioral data, or build user profiles. Because we use only essential cookies, no consent banner is required under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.

7. Data transfers

Personal data you submit to us (e.g., via contact forms or trial requests) is stored and processed within the European Economic Area. Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (US) as a static site — no personal data is processed or stored through the hosting infrastructure. Where third-party services are used, we ensure appropriate safeguards under Articles 44-49 of the GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses. See our subprocessors page for a complete list.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, or when required by law. Any third-party processors are listed on our subprocessors page and are bound by data processing agreements that meet GDPR requirements.

We share your transaction data with Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, which securely handles payment processing and subscription billing management on our behalf. Stripe operates under rigorous PCI-DSS security standards and data processing parameters fully compliant with the GDPR.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), access controls, and regular security reviews. RADAR is self-hosted and processes data inside your infrastructure — we have no access to your RADAR deployment, evidence, or configuration.

10. Marketing communications

We may send you product updates, compliance news, or information about RADAR if you have opted in or requested a trial. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email. We do not send unsolicited commercial communications.

11. Children's data

Our website and RADAR are intended for business users and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately for deletion.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through our website. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
