What this covers

This policy covers data collected via our websites (akioud.ai and product pages), sales/support forms, newsletters, and managed/beta services. For self-hosted AKIOS OSS, you are the controller of any data processed in your environment.

Data we collect

  • Contact & leads: name, work email, phone (optional), company, role, message, interests.
  • Account & access: SSO identifiers, audit logs, team memberships (for managed/beta services).
  • Support: ticket content, attachments, technical diagnostics you provide.
  • Telemetry & traces (managed products): service logs, performance metrics; customer content only if you choose to send traces to our managed plane.
  • Marketing & events: newsletter signups, webinar registrations, proof of consent.
  • Site analytics: IP, user agent, pages viewed, referrer, timestamps; error logs. See Cookie Policy.

Purposes & legal bases (GDPR)

  • Provide and support our services, respond to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)).
  • Managed service telemetry, security, and fraud prevention (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Marketing with opt-in consent; you can withdraw anytime (Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • Compliance, record keeping, and asserting legal claims (Art. 6(1)(c)/(f)).
  • Analytics with consent where required (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Retention

  • Leads/support: 24 months after last interaction.
  • Newsletter/event consents: until withdrawal; proof of consent retained as required.
  • Managed service audit logs: default 30 days (extendable per contract); cost/trace data per customer setting.
  • Web/server logs: 6 months; aggregated stats may be kept longer.

Sharing & transfers

We use processors for hosting, email delivery, analytics, error tracking, and CRM. Data minimization and SCCs or equivalent safeguards apply for transfers outside the EEA/UK. A list of subprocessors is available on request.

Security

TLS in transit; encryption at rest where supported by our providers; role-based access; audit logging; least privilege; separation of environments. No method is 100% secure.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection (including marketing opt-out). You can withdraw consent at any time. Contact legal@akioud.ai. You may lodge a complaint with CNIL.

Children

Services are not directed to children under 15. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

Material updates will be posted here with a new date; we may also use banners or email for significant changes.
